Next time, maybe fewer acronyms. Or at least call them out. (Says the girl who works at NASA.)

DISH Network has something similar but better! Being an employee of DISH I know that DISH Network customers that have the Logitech Revue can get Google TV WOW! I stream Netflix pull up YouTube videos and listen to Pandora’s Radio when ever I want and still watch TV. DISH Network subscriber even have the option of enhancing their integration through your search. DISH also has HD Video On Demand programming available in 1080p, the sharpest picture quality for your HD TV. If you would like more information about this go to DISH Networks website.

Sure - and you have to pay for DISH Network, get their DVR, and then buy a Logitech Revue and set everything up. Oh, but a TiVo user can *also* buy a Logitech Revue - actually ANYONE can, they aren't tied to a provider. I know Google worked with DISH so it has some extra connectivity with the DISH DVR, but the majority of the features of Google TV work regardless of the content provider.

Retail TiVos already offer access to Netflix, Amazon VOD, Blockbuster, Pandora, Live365, YouTube, Music Choice, web videos, and more. The over-the-top content restrictions are only on MSO-provided units, and that's because of the contracts Netflix has with the content owners. But the MSO-provided units still offer most of the network content, and add the provider's VOD services.

And then there is the issue of DISH Network stealing TiVo's intellectual property by infringing on their DVR patents. Which the courts have repeatedly found in favor of TiVo, while EchoStar/DISH keep trying to duck payment and continue to infringe.
